Shield Trade Show 2011

Trade shows, like the Shield Trade Show in the Eastern Cape, offer a platform for the industry to showcase and demonstrate their latest products, services and examine the most recent market trends and opportunities. Zing had a lot to show and put up a lovely display for the 2011 Shield Trade Show.

Prime-time braai-time

On Friday, 24 September 2010, e-TV and Frontline Marketing took a vote and decided: it's a nice day for a braai.

Zing Fruit Juice attended this braai in style, with branded point-of-sale items and a gazebo to match. To create further awareness, Zing gave out complementary 200 ml fruit juices to the braaiers, slaaiers and all-round good people attending the fiery festivities.

At the end of the day, we realised that it wasn't just a nice day for a braai - it was The Perfect Day!

Wheelchair event moves community

Zing Fruit Juice was proudly involved with the Mitchell's Plain Eskom Wheelchair Race on 6 November 2010. Local communities participated in full flair, while participants came from as far as Mosselbay and Oudtshoorn.

The enthusiasm of the racers were evident, as it was felt by everybody present. The riders' faces all gleamed with a sense of belonging, while they enjoyed the spotlight and support of the community!

Zing is proud to have been part of this much needed initiative by Eskom. We handed out 200 ml Zing fruit juice to help the participants cool down after the eventful day.

Birdie brands the green

Zing Fruit Juice sponsored the Raimondi Golf Day in conjunction with Brafica Distributors on 18 November 2010, and made their appearance very prominent with their branded Zing gazebo and banners. The weather hit a hole-in-one with the event, adding to the most enjoyable day of golf.

Come on down to Mzoli's!

Zing Fruit Juice recently promoted the brand at Mzoli's in Gugulethu. This is a local hangout that's really popular for its lunches, attracting customers from far and wide. Mzoli's agreed for Zing branding to be put up, in order to promote the brand even after the promotion. Thank you, Mzoli's!

The Zing promotion was a great success. Customers who bought Zing Fruit Juice had to spin the Zing Wheel to see what prize they had won. Prizes included branded Zing pens and stickers, free Zing Fruit Juice and even mystery prizes, such as a branded Zing t-shirt or cap.

Mzoli's is a pioneer in the trade and we are gladly associated with them, thanks to Phu Mayo Distributors, who are also setting out to increase Zing's distribution in Khayelitsha, Gugulethu, Langa and Nyanga.

Inkanyezi Tavern

Zing Fruit Juice has made an impact among consumers in Umlazi when the Inkanyezi Tavern allowed us to promote the Zing brand on the 27th of August 2010.

It was surely great to see so many people enjoy the sweet sensations of Zing Fruit Juice - the feedback we received was very positive! Zing is gaining more and more attention in the public eye, no wonder that the Inkanyezi Tavern had to stock up after only one hour of the promotion!

Ekhaya Tavern

Zing Fruit Juice is making its rounds and building awareness. The Zing promotion at Ekhaya Tavern on the 13th of August 2010 proved to be very successful.

In good soccer spirit

Zing Fruit Juice was involved with the Paarl Gym School Soccer Tournament on the 7th of June 2010.

Despite the rain, the children had a great time. A proper opening was held, where the National Anthem was sung with pride.

Zing Fruit Juice participated in the Good Food & Wine Show from the 13th to the 16th of May 2010. This year's event proved to be an outstanding success, boasting with a visitor count for the record books! Thank you for having a glass of Zing with us.

Good Fruit Juice

Zing Fruit Juice is participating in the Good Food & Wine Show from the 13th to the 16th of May 2010. This Show is all about good food and good wine, and promises a good time for all who appreciate good taste!

If you've ever been to a Good Food & Wine Show before, then this year's Winter Edition will most definitely tantalize your taste buds! The Good organisers have really gone out of their way, with he most sensational line-up of international celebrity chefs this country has yet seen - obviously joined by our very own cream of the crop! Just have a look at what they have on offer!

The Zing-stand will be among the many extraordinary exhibits at the show. Come have a glass of our proudly South African juice - we hope to see you there!

Walking the Walk

Zing Fruit Juice together with Brafica, their Western Cape sales/distributor, was involved in the 2010 Elite Walk-a-thon on the 27th of April 2010. This year, the Elite Walk-a-thon attracted more than 4000 people.

Here, the Zing gazebo saw that everyone's thirst was quenched. Zing sponsored fruit juice for the various water-points, as well as some prizes for the lucky draw.

Nipper WP Championships

Club Big Bay recently hosted the Western Province Lifesaving Championships where approximately 300 Nippers competed. Fifty of these Nippers proudly hailed from Club Big Bay.

Club Big Bay's Nippers performed very well. The u/10s won their category, while Romano De Freitas received nine gold medals as well as the trophy for Best Competitor u/10.

The u/12 Girls took first place in their category, while the u/12 Boys took second place in theirs. Kristin Belingan received the trophy for Best Female Competitor u/12, while Katja Toms was one point behind her - well done, girls!

The u/14s ended up in second place in their category.

The Nippers enjoyed a fun-filled day of good spirited competition and Zing Fruit Juice. Club Big Bay's Nippers are looking forward to continuing and improving their good form.
